Happy America’s Birthday & Where to Watch Fireworks in NYC

Happy 4th of July!   I hope you find it a safe one filled with friends, family, delicious BBQ and wondrous fireworks.

The annual Macy’s fireworks show over the Hudson River is high anticipated in New York, with people lining up hours ahead of time in the heat to get a good spot.  If you are lucky you have a friend who lives along the river, or an invitation to a fireworks party and will watch the fireworks in luxury with a cold drink and warm snacks at hand.  Otherwise, feel free to brave the crowds with the rest of us and park yourself at one of these spots for viewing this year’s display of fireworks magic.  (Thanks Macy’s!)
